Dr.
Salsitz is the Director of the Methadone Medical Maintenance Program at Beth
Israel Medical Center. He is a pioneer in the provision of medical methadone
maintenance (office-based methadone) treatment. He is board certified in
Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine, and holds a certification in Addiction
Medicine.
Dr. Salsitz graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brooklyn College and received his medical degree from SUNY Buffalo, School of Medicine. He is a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM).
