for Patient RightsDr. Yancovitz is Chief, Division of Chemical Dependency and Medical Director, Stuyvesant Square Chemical Dependency Treatment Services. He is board certified in internal medicine and infectious disease. Dr. Yancovitz is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
Dr. Yancovitz received his bachelorÌs degree from Columbia College and his MD, from SUNY-Downstate Medical School. He has over twenty-five years of clinical experience in the field of chemical dependency and is well published on the topic. He is also a member of numerous professional societies including: The American Society of Drug and Alcohol Dependence, American Society of Microbiology and the American Public Health Association.
